Second chances with the 1080 V12…….
I have been running for over 51 year and am having a resurgence in my success from younger years after a 30 year lapse in any racing. I was also a volunteer high school cross country and track coach in my 50s and so I am a very educated in running shoes and training techniques.
I can say enough about the NB 1080 V12. I wore my first pair two years ago and have never looked back. It provides a level of protection for my mature legs that is priceless and even put an energy back in them that I have not experienced in recent years. A 21:19 5k at 65 validated that. Thanks for the great job with a shoe that gave me a second life in running!

Old vs New versions of the 1080
This version of the 1080 is the last of the super firm 1080s. The next version had an almost complete redesign and much softer foam. This version has a solid rocker and is very durable. I get 400-450 miles a pair.
