Not as comfortable
I love new balance sneakers but this particular model hurt my little toe area on my left foot. I have narrow feet, the sneakers does not look narrow. 8.5 is my normal size which I bought. The bottom of my feet got sore after awhile as well. Got compliments about the sneakers but will stick to the 996, 997h and ALD high top sneakers instead. I suffer from plantar fiasciitis because of years working on the floors at my hospital. Need a soft supportive sneakers.

High Top for Old Head
Great high top option for skateboarding. Broken in right off the rip, and has nice grip on it. The only complaint would be some lace protection and a bit more stability in the ankle but since I’m old and need ankle support these do the trick.

Awesome Shoes
First pair of NB I own. They’re stylish and comfortable for a great price. I searched through a bunch of other brands for high tops until I found these. My only issue was the shoelaces were long after I tied them so I just replaced them with shorter ones. Hands down, best shoes I’ve ever owned.

Favorite skate shoes
These are my favorite skate shoes. I prefer high tops to cover the ankles. I can't wear most skate shoes because they are too narrow/long, but these fit pretty well. Decent board feel with very little break in period without being too thin. I wish there were more of the ones with all black upper and white bottom available. That was my favorite colorway but I'm enjoying the dark green ones too.
