Details & care

Perfect for everyday runners, this all-distance running shoe puts targeted Fresh Foam X cushioning with an updated Infinion midsole under every stride for a plush, comfortable ride that keeps up for miles.

Perfect for: Casual, everyday runners looking for miles of plush cushioning in a running shoe that transitions easily to a sneaker with performance comfort grounding every step.

Upper: An engineered knit wraps every stride in ventilated comfort and moves easily with your foot whether you're walking or running. Reflective details enhance visibility in low light or at night.

Midsole Drop: 6mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Running

I bought these as my first pair of running shoes and I loved them! I have very high arches and struggle with plantar facscitis but I never had any problems when using these for my runs. If you are looking for a shoe for long runs I would highly reccommend!

V14 and V15 are crap,a joke! toebox is so narrow

I have been a loyal customer of the 1080 fresh foam for 10 years. V13 was your last good version with a toebox that could be called a wide toebox and I could use a D width. V14 and V15 are crap, you kept narrowing the toebox both in width and in height, to please the fashionable crowds I assume, but that's it!! After buying 2 pairs of V15 in E2 men size and even going up one size more in the shoe size (so I tried everything) I am done. Brand loyalty is a 2-way street. I have moved to Altra, you can learn from them on how to make toeboxes.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your loyalty to the 1080 over the years. We're sorry to hear the fit changes in the more recent versions, particularly in the toe box, no longer provide the comfort and space you've relied on. We value insights like yours, and our Customer Care team would be glad to document your experience and help answer any questions regarding fit and model updates.

Didn't work for me

at first seemed good. but I tried them for a few days and the stabilizer bar put so much pressure on my medical calcaneus I got to where I had to cancel events to stay off my foot

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear the stabilizer bar caused pressure on your heel and led to significant discomfort during wear. We understand how frustrating it is when a shoe impacts your daily activities, and our Customer Care team would be happy to document your experience and assist with any questions regarding fit and support features.

Not quite narrow enough

I’ve bought this model for 20 years because they come in Narrow… with the exception of the heel being plenty narrow, the rest of the shoe feels like a medium width. I hope they go back a few versions to a more truly narrow size

1080v15

Put these new sneakers on and went out for my 5 mile run with no problem. Instantly comfortable and remain so many more miles in. Have been wearing NB running sneakers for 20+ years and will continue buying them. Always a winner.

My Favorites So Far!

I have wide feet and my perfect fit is 9.5D. I bought these February 2026 to run inside on my treadmill, so I haven't tried them outside, but I LOVE these shoes. They are very bouncy and my feet do not get tired. I typically run 3-6 miles per run. I wore Fresh Foam x Balos to train for my last race and those were OK. I've been wearing Fresh Foam X More at work for 12 hour shifts for years now (I buy a new pair once a year).

Order Wide

I lived in last years version of this shoe. Somehow this version is WAY way narrower. If you have a wide toe box or are using these to be on your feet all day, definitely size wide. Not sure why there’s such a huge difference (I didn’t get wide last year)

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear this version fit noticeably narrower than the previous model you enjoyed, especially for all-day wear. We understand how frustrating it can be when sizing and fit change between versions, and if you'd like help exploring styles that may offer a roomier fit, our Customer Care team would be happy to assist.

No more heal pain!

I recently had an ankle fusion and these were the only shoes to relieve my heal pain. The curved sole aided in my walking without the roll of an ankle. Excellent shoe!

Ahh, Happy and Balanced Feet♥️

Great price for the comfort you gain. They really do put a bounce in your step! My feet feel stable and comfortable. I was having balance issues and these shoes do help regain balance. The heel is soft and cushy. Yes, they may be pricey, but my feet deserve all the comfort I can give them. It’s great and was able to order in 5 1/2 wide.
