Are these the jeans I ordered???
Let me start off by saying yes, I am plus size and yes, I know that pants are not gonna look the same on me as the picture with that being said are these actually the same jeans that I ordered that cute little flare at the bottom is nonexistent on the pair of jeans that I picked up, not even the same color tint they were comfortable to put on, but what I was expecting is definitely not what I got very disappointing this being my first pair of mother jeans probably won’t order again.

The Most Comfortable Bell Bottoms!!
For reference I am 5'2" and weigh 125 lbs. I originally order size 27 since I read to size down but they were not flattering in that size (they fit but didn't show the shape of my body at all and felt loose) so I ordered size 26 which fit my waist much better. My true waist measurement is a 29-30" and my hip size is a 37-38". These are so comfortable to wear!! I want to wear them everyday, all day!! Also if you are short like me, no hemming! Length is perfect and I think you could be an inch or two shorter and still not hem them.

I think the reviews about these being slightly large are right on. I am 5’1”/136 and curvy, and wear from a 28 to 30 in jeans depending on the brand. These fit precisely right in a 28, just out of the box. I worry that they will loosen up a lot with wear, but perhaps they will shrink a little in the wash. Nordstrom was sold out of the 27 or I would have tried those as well.
If you love the flare look from the 60s/70s and always been too short to wear what’s on the market, you will adore these. I feel like I have wanted pants like this forever. To be clear, they are a flare, not simply wide leg or boot cut. The inseam is perfect for me in anything but the flattest flats. Even most of my flat sandals have just enough lift that the cuff is where it’s supposed to be without dragging on the ground.
Yes, they are a splurge. But with the right styling, I would wear these to work, to a conference, to visit my fashionista mother in New York City, or just as comfy pair of travel pants. They look great with a fitted blazer.
