The Tomcat High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans

I'm 130 pound, 5'3 height, 43 yrs old active mom. Got in size 27 and 28, it's funny how the 28 fits half inch smaller than size 27. Size 27 seems has stretched out a bit, maybe people tried them on. 27 and 28 actually about the same. I will try size 26 and see how it is. My pre kid size is 26, now with a bit of excess skin, I;m 27 in most jeans. Feels this can stretch out more.

I have several pairs of Mother denim and find this brand to be very hit or miss. When the jeans are good, they're GOOOOD or they're a complete misfire. This pair is the latter. Found the color to be a little more yellow than the photo, they fit but had to be wiggled into (bought same size as normal) and they made my bum look very flat (and it is definitely not flat). Don't recommend this pair.

I purchased these in 2 different sizes and my usual Mother size 27 fit correctly. For reference, I'm 135lbs. However, at 5' 8", these looked very strange on me. I've been trying to find a cute pair of either white or ivory summer cropped jeans, but these are a definite miss. They kind of have a kick flare at the bottom, which looks odd on someone my height or taller (you can't tell from the photo). If they were cut more straight or maybe even narrowed at the ankle, they would work better. If you're on the shorter side they might work for you, but if you're tall don't bother. Sadly, they just look like floods on me so they're going back to the store.
