Mother Jeans – “Don’t Be a Square” Mushroom Print)
These jeans are absolutely adorable! The “Don’t Be a Square” design with the mushroom embroidery is such a fun, unique twist on a classic silhouette. The fit is perfect — they sit comfortably at the waist, hug the body in all the right places, and somehow manage to feel structured yet completely non-restrictive. The denim has just the right amount of stretch, so they stay flattering all day without sagging or losing shape.
I usually wear a 23 or 24 in Mother and purchase these in 24, but 23 would have been fine as well. They fit true to size.
The embroidered mushroom print adds such a playful touch, and the subtle flair at the bottom gives them extra personality and movement. They’re easy to dress up or down and fit true to size, which makes shopping for them a breeze.

2 Holes Within a Year
I bought these, which also happened to be my first pair of Mother jeans one year ago. I wear them rarely and I also bought them to fit very loose within the past year. I have two holes around the pelvic area. I expected a lot more from a high-end jeans brand I will not be purchasing from this brand again I think if you’re looking for a high-quality pair of jeans, these may not be the material you’re looking for to fit that need and be a quality investment.

True to size but ripped
I am writing this as a person that only wears mother jeans. These have no give or stretch , I got them out of the package and they popped right open as in they tore . I’m really sad because I love jeans with designs and Nordstrom normally doesn’t get these

Nice but more tight fitting than expected
This review is for the embroidered version (color called Going Out On A Limb), I bought them here after seeing them directly on Mother website where my size was sold out, and where they are described as having a slouchy fit. Well, they don't, and I almost wish I bought a size up to get that, but it's now also sold out. Otherwise they are nice jeans and the embroidery adds a fun detail, but slouchy or relaxed they are not. The denim is on a thicker side, and for the summery embroidery I would have preferred a lighter fabric. So all in all nice jeans, but not quite what I expected.
