What it does: Clinique’s Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator Broad Spectrum SPF 25 is a sheer tinted moisturizer with SPF that hydrates, perfects and protects skin in one simple step. It is sweat and humidity resistant and helps keep skin looking plumped and dewy for 12 hours. The tinted moisturizer is available in seven sheer, perfecting shades that blend flawlessly with a range of skin tones. The tinted formula leaves skin with a fresh, natural-looking finish. It doubles as a face moisturizer with SPF 25 and antioxidants that help protect skin from the harmful effects of UV, pollution, pollen and other impurities.

My new favorite
I have been looking for a tinted moisturizer for a year! I don't know why they are so scarce. I saw this one and thank goodness for the variety of shades. I picked one that looked close to my foundation and was amazed at how lightweight it was but yet covers evenly. That it feels silky on my skin is a bonus.

Pricey But Great Product
Yes, I wish this was about $15 cheaper, but I've tried a lot of tinted moisturizers and have found them either too heavy, not heavy enough, too mattifying, too greasy, or absent spf. This one glides on easily but doesn't feel oily, gives skin a little glow but not too much makeup-y color, and the spf makes it perfect for putting on before walking the dogs in the morning or heading to the gym (i.e. when I want to look a little more awake and attractive, but am not going to put on real makeup until I've washed my face). You only need about a pea-sized amount for coverage, and that way, the tube will last a couple of months.
