Adventure ready
These Merrell Kids Moab shoes have officially become part of my kid's personality. He loves them so much I'm starting to think he'd wear them to bed if I'd let him. They survive mud, rocks, playground adventures, and mysterious puddles that somehow only children can find.
They're comfortable, durable, and apparently fast enough to outrun parents when it's time to leave the park. The only downside? Convincing him to wear any other pair of shoes is now a daily negotiation.
If your kid is an adventure machine, these shoes are worth every penny!

Poor quality hiking shoes
We bought these shoes for our 9 year old. They immediately started cracking where the upper attaches the to cushion foam. These shoes have been on 2 hikes with a total of about 9 miles. That's pretty disappointing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SHOES.

Comfortable and would buy again
These were comfortable for my son right out of the box. Traction is great. Only drawback is that laces tend to be those that come undone if they aren't double-knotted. He was less than thrilled about that.
