This is not for a brunette. More for a blonde. Gave it to my blonde friend.

Best brow gel ever!
The “brunette” color looks light when you take it out of the tube, but it somehow goes on so much darker and it is a true dark brown. But if you want a near black then you probably want to go with “dark brown” but this it is a true brunette and goes great with my dark brown hair. I’m so glad I tried it before returning it thinking they sent me the wrong color because it is amazing! This is the best brow gel I’ve ever used It goes on so easy, Took me 30 seconds to do each brow, and it doesn’t come off even when I used astringent on my face with a washcloth. This truly does last for at least 48 hours and it is so nice to not have to keep reapplying every day. I look like I got my brows professionally done and I love it!

color looks light but correct
It’s an amazing product and i really love how it applies and how it looks! Very long lasting but easily taken off also. Like the previous review said, although the color doesn’t look right out of the tube, it’s actually correct as labeled/manufacture recommended. I am so happy with this product!
