[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Mielle Organics Kalahari Melon 🍈 & Aloe Vera Deep Hydration Curl ➰Forming Glaze for a few weeks. I wanted to see if the results were not only immediate, but also lasting. Upon first use, there was a noticeable difference in how soft, moisturized, 💧 and defined my hair was. The product moisturizes nicely without feeling super heavy and my hair didn’t feel weighed down afterwards. The scent is subtle, pleasant and melon 🍈 sweet. I appreciate that it smells 👃nice but doesn’t clash with anything else I’m wearing or using. My curl ➰pattern type has the tendency to get dry and frizzy and this leave in works well to make my strands feel smoother, more manageable, and easier to detangle. It seems like even the breakage amount has improved too. Overall, my hair feels healthier and looks more defined with less greasy build up. My only complaint is that the results don’t seem to be consistent or long lasting. My first use was a wonderful experience, but I haven’t seemed to get the same results with every application. I also notice that the definition only lasts for so long after I apply the glaze. I like the product enough to keep using it, but I don’t love 💗 it enough to replace other products in my daily routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Mielle Kalahari Melon & Aloe Cera Deep Hydro Curl Forming Glaze, and overall it was just okay for me. I had higher expectations based on the description but it didn't quite deliver the results I was hoping for. The texture was one of the main issues. It felt pretty sticky when applying, which made it a little difficult to work through my hair evenly. Instead of feeling hydrating and smooth, it left my hair feeling more coated than moisturized. As for curl definition, it didn't enhance my curls as much as I expected. I was hoping for softer more defined curls with lasting moisture, but my hair ended up feeling a bit dry and not as defined as I like. It might work better for someone with a different hair type or styling preference, but for me it didn't live up to the deep hydration claim.
