Thermo Kiruna 2 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot (Women)

These boots exceeded my expectations, they are VERY comfortable and lightweight. My husband joked he thought there was only one bot in the box when it was delivered. These boots keep my feet very dry and warm in wet and cold weather. They are light enough to be as comfortable running errands as they are out in the snow. Wow!

As a regular Merrell customer, I wanted to purchase a new pair of the Siren 4 boots to replace my old ones which I loved! However, Merrell stopped make them in a wide width! VERY disappointed in you, Merrell. The bungee laces were awesome, too. What the heck! So, I purchased the Thermo Kiruna as it was the only decent wide width boot I could find in my size. It is comfortable, lightweight, definitely waterproof. Just wish they were taller, a bit more robust, and the top lace hook placed better. I walk the shoreline in deep snow here in northern Michigan! So... Merrell... just 'cause a woman has wide feet doesn't mean she's old and wants fuddy-duddy styles and colors - shoes and boots! 10.5 Wide please. Thank you! :)

The Thermo Kiruna 2 Tall Waterproof in 7 1/2 wide is a really good fit for me and I can wear a little thicker sock with it. I do have a wide foot. My feet stay warm and dry on my daily walks. The one thing that has not been good about this boot is that the laces do not stay tied very well. I have 3 other Merrell boot styles and they tend to have the same problem. I have managed the others well but feel I will need to replace the Kiruna laces. A bit harder to tighten up on my walk in the winter with gloves on. Merrell brand has been good for my feet.
