Still hoping the straps will stretch
The straps are tight so they aren't comfortable. I occasionally have trouble with "thong style" strap between my toes, had hoped Merrell's would be different but aren't. It chafes, and it keeps my feet from going as far forward as I would like. But they are a little dressier than sportswear company sandals.

These may be the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn! They cling to my feet yet are flexible enough to move with your feet. It literally feels as if I am walking on marshmallows! Great support and look amazing!
