Hiking shoe
Bought for hiking. No break in needed! Has good grip on soles. Has wide forefoot area. Slightly thin bottom and could feel rocks. This improved with using hard insole inserts. Runs on the slightly large side for sizing. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9. Got 8.5 and have plenty of room.
