Favorite Summer Hiking Shoe - All out Blaze
All the Merrill quality plus a lighter weight shoe … disappointing to not see this model as a current purchase option … I need a new pair and more colors!

Only good for pavement
The "mesh" part of this shoe is so porous that I can't imagine walking in sand or dirt without getting a shoe full. The landscape is easily seen looking through both sides of the shoe. The heel has a lot of slippage.

Not Supportive for Proper walking
I don't feel these hikers provide the proper support for hiking & just walking around town. I like the grippy sole & wanted to like these hikers. After your heel strike your shoe should support proper foot alignment. Hiking stability is questionable since this hiker promotes your foot to roll inward.

Great fit...Very comfortable
My favorite Merrells EVER! I had purchased 5 pairs of the Blaze.....So sad to see them discontinued...Can not find and other style even close to replacing them..PLEASE bring them back

Why Merrell, why ?
I've owned countless Merrell shoes over the the last 2 decades (still use TG4 and MQM Ace and then some). All out Blaze Aero were by far the best pair of light hikers and water shoes I've ever experienced- they were my go to for any hiking in jungle, wet, muddy, conditions including wading through streams, etc. Why on Earth did Merrell discontinue this amazing shoe and with no replacement or updated version in sight ?!

This product is very comfortable and not just good looking! I have been wearing Nerrell shoes since 2010 and was looking for a good pair of casual dress and walking shoes. This works for both. I am going to purchase in different colors now that I know!

Fantastic lightweight shoes
These are great, lighweight, breathable hiking shoes or everyday sneakers. I love everything about them, the fit is true to size. Overall wonderful!
