Fitted Blazer

I’m 5'4", 134 lbs, 36B, with a 29.5" waist. The navy blue color is a little darker in person than it appears online. The sleeve length was perfect, but the blazer runs a little long and falls down to about my buttocks area. The material feels amazing and looks very nice. However, it is very tight around the armpit/underarm area, and there is absolutely no stretch. Unfortunately, because of the tightness and limited range of movement, I had to return it. I wish the underarm area had a little more room because otherwise, I really liked the blazer.

I have several Nordstrom suits, but I was not even able to get this one over my shoulders. I’m typically a size 14 and wear a xl in my other Nordstrom brand suits and I ordered an xxl here.

I’ve been in the market for a well-made, reasonably priced blazer for ages. Thought found it. Arrived today..less than a week after I ordered. Beautifully made. Nice fabric..perfect for between seasons or warm winters. Color was spot on ( we all need a good navy blazer). It fit in shoulders, sleeves were perfect. I couldn’t button it. I am not fat..I am overweight a bit,and wear a 38DD bra…so maybe that’s the issue, but I ordered a L..which according to the size guide was a 12-14. I wear a 12 in everything except jackets, so I thought I was safe ordering this size. An XL (16) would be too large. It’s going back. Looks like I need to return to shopping in person at my local. Nordstrom.

I was so bummed this did not come in a petite size. It is near impossible to find a blazer that fits a woman’s body correctly and this fit beautifully except for the extra length. (not too small in the chest, arm holes were cut properly). The body and sleeves were too long and the oversized patch pockets were awkward. For reference I’m 5’4” 115lbs, 32D.

I saw this blazer in store during anniversary sale. Tired on M and Large. The large was way to big and medium fit everywhere but at waist to button - really tight, but there is a bit of stretch- not that I would wear it button at work, but it is tolerable since the color, big pockets, and style really works for me. I bought the matching pants. I am 34-36 DD and 165lbs , 5’3. Also I would have liked if there were some natural fibers.

I like this blazer I wish it wasn’t synthetic and I wish it didn’t have to be dry cleaned, but that being said at the sale price, it is a great wardrobe staple. Unfortunately if you are a large breasted woman, it won’t work. I could button it around my waist easily, but the chest area is slim and as a 34 J cup it just doesn’t cut it.

Unfortunately this didn’t fit well on me, but the quality and the color were great. Hope it works for you.

Sizing: read the size guide; definitely has a more tailored fit. I’m 5’10”, 135 lb, and can wear anything from an XS to a medium. M fit perfectly. As the other tall reviewers noted, sleeves were good length and so was the body of the blazer. A great mid-weight gabardine-style fabric. Definitely can be workwear or casual. Really happy with the purchase.

Love the color and fit. Perfect for me and material is great. Also not quite as heavy as some of the other blazers heading into fall as some have been to heavy before.
