The BOA system worked great so far (1 month in). The speed of putting on shoes made my teenagers envy :) Gore-Tex kept my feet dry, and Vibram kept me sure footed, throughout the treks in Tokyo rains.

Can't exchange because its not is stock
Its been a month since I got the shoes, and the lower foam part started coming out already, I got the link to exchange, but cannot exchange as the shoe is not in stock.

BOA Shoes: amazing
Amazing...comfortable in a new way... lightweight...and comfortable...but now "comfortable" in that I'm going to stand around on a concrete floor sort of way.... but comfortble in that the footing in these is a very secure feeling...

Easy to wear
The BOA laces make it very easy. Take the shoes on and off, and dial in the lace tightness to exactly what you want. The BOA laces, however, seem to lack the compressive power for a tight fit for rough outdoor conditions. There shoes are awesome for daily wear.

Boa lacing affecting heel lockdown
Beautiful and well constructed trail shoes. Did not find the Boa lacing extending far enough toward my ankle to hold down my heel. Could not get my heel to lock down, even when inserting thicker insoles. Seems a bit of a design flaw, as I do not have any problem locking down my heels in my Altra and Brooks trail shoes. Really wanted to like for rainy day hikes and training, but heel lifting is a recipe for blisters and wearing out socks.
