Stark Coated Canvas Monogram Backpack

I'm returning this item, and while I hesitate to say this, I feel it's important to share my personal impression—just in case it helps others make an informed decision. The backpack itself is visually striking, and the color palette is what drew me in. Among many options, this one stood out beautifully. When I received it, everything seemed fine at first glance. However, upon inspecting the dust bag, I felt something was off. Having purchased several luxury brand bags in the past, I’ve come to expect a certain level of refinement—even in the packaging. This dust bag felt unusually oversized and lacked the elegance typical of high-end brands. While I understand that MCM is now under Korean ownership and production may have shifted, this particular item didn’t feel authentic to me. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, and others may have a different experience. But if I were in charge of sourcing at Nordstrom Rack, I’d take a closer look at the origin and quality of these bags. Something about it just didn’t align with what I’ve come to associate with genuine MCM products.
