Sleeveless Split Maxi Dress

I purchased this Max Studio sleeveless maxi dress last year, and it quickly became one of the most useful pieces in my wardrobe. I wore it constantly at home and while traveling. The black color is especially practical, and at Nordstrom Rack prices, it feels like an excellent value and an easy piece to wear without worrying too much about everyday use. At 5’0”, I usually have Max Studio maxi dresses shortened, and this style was no exception. I accidentally purchased a size S this time and did not have time to exchange it before a trip, so I wore it as is. It worked well, but I believe XS would have been a better fit. Even in XS, the design appears to have a relaxed silhouette, and I would likely wear it with a tank top underneath. This is one of those wonderful dresses that requires almost no thought—just slip it on and the outfit is complete. Comfortable, versatile, and effortlessly stylish, it is a dress I expect to wear just as often this year.

the denim color drew me in the minute i saw it. i was amazed by the soft texture when i got it in the mail. it's too long for me but i am taking it to the tailors to shorten to my height. it's incredibly comfortable, soft, flattering, and has a demure beauty look to it. it's flattering and compliments my evolving body. You can't beat the quality, details, value, and style of this dress.
