Floral Wreath Print Tiered Cotton Blend Maxi Skirt

I made the mistake of ordering a size down based on reviews. I recommend you stick with your regular size. I don’t like having to pay $9.95 for a return.

This is a beautiful skirt in the red and cream print. I love the bottom tier the best the ruffle trim is gorgeous. I will pair this with a cream top, cardigan, or even a red cotton tank with a denim jacket. Perfect for those warm summer nights or daytime summer events. I am almost 5'3", I saw this at the store and loved the fabric and print and took it home without trying on. As the previous reviewer stated, the skirt runs long for a taller person. Easy fix-drop it in the dryer after washing and it will definitely shrink up like any summer dress would do if you don't line dry. It shrank up and is the perfect length for me now.

The skirt is of good material and well made. It is true to size. It is too long for me and too much alteration to complete the perfect look for me. I am 5" 2 " tall. I will return.

For a $20 skirt I was pleased. If I had paid much more I would have been disappointed. The skirt is not terrible quality by any means but Max Studio items are usually lower quality for Nordstrom Rack in my opinion. As others have noted, the skirt is unlined and slightly sheer. I personally will feel totally fine in a nude bikini panty but if you’re hesitant about things like that, this is not a skirt for you. In my photos you can see my black bikini panty. The skirt needs a good steam but I think it will wear well in regard to wrinkling. One small complaint in the lemon print there is a small flower detail that looks like a stain at first. I thought it was stained when I unpackaged and then realized it was the pattern. When I showed my husband he thought the same thing but realized it repeated and was part of the pattern. I included a photo of the little flower spot for reference. I am 5’6” 153lbs athletic build and generally wear a 4-6 (trending towards a 6). I ordered a size S and thought it fit well, I wouldn’t have minded a smidge more space in the waistband elastic but it certainly wasn’t too tight.

I got this in the lemon print and always get compliments when I wear it. Very lightweight easy to wear. I’m normally a small and got a small. It does not have a lining, but I think it’s fine-makes it more hairy for summertime in the south. I usually wear a bike short style underpinning for a little extra coverage.
