First I love how soft the Suade is yet how sturdy the bag is. It sits upright on its own , not flopping around all loosey goosey. I love the shoulder strap because its a bitcwider, and the length is perfect. Its quite roomy inside, fitting my Iphone 17 pro max , my chunky wallet, and my sunglasses easily with room to spare.Finally I love the magnetic closure because it keeps the bag closed without having to deal with zippers. So glad I jumped on this fall fashionable bag. Suede is the way to go this fall!

Misleading photos
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dried olive color is very rich, and the shape of the bag is on trend. However, I was disappointed to find that the inside pocket is sewn in a way that the stitches are visible from the outside. I also don’t understand why none of the product photos show this feature of the back - it seems like a pretty important piece of information for online buyers. I’m guessing it’s because it makes the construction look cheap, but it’s unfortunate that Madewell decided to hide this.

Rich brown color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag looks chic, and the suede brown is a nice rich color. This bag size is perfect, not too big, not too small. The only downside is there is only one small opening on the inside to store a few credit cards and an I.D. No other compartments to separate any smaller items you would like to have organized. I do have some small loose zip fabric bags I will be using to hold smaller items, but I would prefer to have at least a couple of built in compartments instead.
