The Plus Signature Poplin Oversize Button-Up Shirt in Springy Stripe

I ordered this top to wear with leggings on travel. i wanted something oversized and comfortable that covers my assets and thought this would be perfect since i could roll the sleeves up or down. The fabric is standard poplin spun very thin and light, but this shirt is cut much shorter than pictured. I am 5'7, and it hit mid-hip on me. If it was four inches longer it would be a keeper, but back to the warehouse, it goes....

You do have to like the oversized look to enjoy and love this shirt. Material is perfect for warmer climate and the color is versatile to wear into fall. Can be worn in some many ways making it versatile —with shorts at the beach, as a coverup or with denim or dressier pants. Shirt is lightweight so can even layer it over a tank or under a sweater or blazer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s clear this is just a straight size cut that’s been increased for curvy women as the shoulders don’t sit quite right and cause the drape in front to make it feel very tent-like. The fabric is nice and it’s a great weight for summer, I just wish Madewell would cut shirts for curvy women and not just increase sizes as if we’re all shaped the same.
