Cute fit

Pleasant surprise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these because I like the vintage canvas color and the reliable comfort and wear qualities of 98% cotton/2% elastane denim. But I was skeptical about the seams on the back of the legs. To my surprise, the jeans drape better because of that seam but the seam does make them look more informal. The fabric is substantial but not too heavy for warm weather and not too rigid. So the fabric moves when I do and doesn't just stand there on its own like a pipe. The 30" length hits just above my ankle bone (I'm 5'8"). As for the fit, I know that 98%/2% stretches a bit, so I sized down (I wear 27 or 28, depending on the fabric, and went with 27.) These jeans are a pleasant surprise.

Cute jeans
These are super cute and comfy. I just wish they were a tad longer (I’m 5’5”) - they didn’t look quite long enough. Maybe it’s the style. I am finally venturing out to wider leg jeans (former skinny jeans wearer). I also feel I’m gonna wish they had belt loops after a few wears. Otherwise I love them! I think I’ll be able to wear into the winter too.

favorite jeans i own
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i'm 5'8", 135 lbs, and 16 yrs old and these are my new favorite jeans. in j crew jeans i've always been a 27 but i recommend sizing down one or two numbers for all madewell jeans. The may seem tight at first but they stretch A LOT! the hidden pockets are great because they don't added a lot of bunching at the hip like normal pockets. They are great for girls with bigger thighs and a small waist because don't end up being really tight at the top of your leg and so much fabric at you stomach as most jeans end up being for me. i tried them on in a blue denim but the fabric ended up being even more stretchy which I didn't like but the white is a 100% must-have!
