Ran waaaaaayy too small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always buy size 25 in Madewell jeans/pants. These shorts felt like I was wedging myself into shorts 2 sizes smaller. Either they’re sizing was way off or mine was some factory mistake. Beware! I would not purchase. If you wear a size 23 I have a pair of shorts you can have. Very frustrated I can’t return. I will never buy a final sale item again.

Bad Shorts

Couldn't hardly unbutton the first button and actually had to use my fabric scissors to cut the opening a bit in order to accommodate the button for the future. The shorts were too low slung and way too baggy in the crotch area. They were final sale, so no returns. Wish I hadn't purchased - waste of money.

Love the cut
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these in store and couldn’t stop thinking about the cut so when I saw them on sale I purchased immediately. I ordered a 29 (can be 29 or 30) and the fit snug. I’m on the fence on whether I should’ve sized up. My issue with 100% cotton shorts when they are a little loose is they end up bunching weird so I think I chose the right size. The cut is super flattering and gives space for legs/butt.
