Happy with the purchase
i was hesitant to order when I saw the reviews but I really like the design and wanted to buy it before it's sold out (it is already out on Madewell website). It is surprisingly good on me. For reference I am 5'7 and 120lb, and my waist is 25. I ordered size 2 and I have extra room at my waist after buttoning up. Fabric is good too. Can't wait to wear it

Strange fit
This has everything good , the color the soft cotton the sleeves. But who designed a shirt that the buttons are so far off to fit anyone's waist. I wanted to keep this especially with the sale price but there was no way it would button and let me still breathe.

Too complicated
Fabric is great. Had a hard time finding buttons to connect cris cross and that part runs small. You have to do a lot of searching to find the buttons for the tie over. Order it and you will find out real fast. It looks great on the model. Sad that it has to be sent back. :(

Too tight
Shirt was adorable. Fit fine except bottom part very small. Don’t feel even sizing up would alleviate this issue! Sad but returned!
