Shay Long Sleeve Chiffon Top

This top is pretty and flowy. The front is slightly shorter than the back so it may puff out a little for those with bigger chests. The fabric is also very sheer in light so a cami is recommended underneath. I usually wear a medium but the small fit better and still had plenty of room to move around.

I tried this in both Small and Medium. Having lost weight, I'm a size 8 now, but I'm finding that sizing down can affect the shoulder width and the sleeve length. I do love this on me in the Medium, but the small was too narrow in the shoulders and definitely too short in the sleeve length. Because the top is meant to be flowy, the Medium works for me, even though the sizing indicates a Small would be correct. Other than that issue, I love this top. The color is divine. Great for red hair and hazel-green eyes. The details are very nice.

I love this cobalt-y blue color, but the shape is too wide in the bust/underarm area for me. I could probably overlook that if the sleeves fit well on a petite lady. That being said, it might work on someone with a different build. Although the buttons and pleats are well constructed, the fabric is just okay. This runs big like most Madewell tops.
