Perfect Small Crossbody Bag!
I absolutely love this bag. I thought it was going to be too small and I wasn’t expecting the zipper to be smooth because of the reviews I read, but I’m so glad I tried it because it’s perfect. It holds more than I thought it would, it’s the perfect length for me for crossbody at 5’7” and I can even adjust it to be shorter or longer. I’m not interested in carrying it as a shoulder bag but I can see how the shoulder bag would be too short for most people. Anyway, if you’re on the fence I would just try it!

Almost perfect
The ‘short strap’ is supposed to be a top handle but it’s too short and the bag bunches awkwardly, the long strap is too long and if you wear it on the shortest holes the extra strap length looks so odd. Returned immediately

Simple and Perfect
I absolutely love this bag. Purchased the cinnamon color and think the color of the leather is slightly darker in person. Love the price since it costs nearly x2 as much on the Madewell App. My only complaint is the small leather strap... huge design flaw to have the strap too short. I get what they were trying to do but it really wont work until the leather is old and worn. It is too new to bend like that and would love this as a clutch is that smaller strap was longer. happy with it either way; cant wait to use this over fall this yr!

Beautiful with the long strap but the short strap is awfully designed. It’s too short and makes The bag bunch up too much. This strap makes it look poorly designed. Waste of a strap; wish I had the option to both shorten and lengthen.

Extremely overpriced
Not worth more than $40. Size is perfect for essentials; phone, wallet, keys, small hand lotion & lipstick. Chocolate raisin Beautiful color however strap is poor quality rubbery gym type material that will disintegrate with normal wear. The extra length strap dangles oddly. If Madewell didn’t cut corners with material & manufacturing, it would’ve been a great purchase and would not end up in landfill. Also too bad you can’t inspect these products in store in person to avoid all the shipping,travel time& miles. Unfortunately, “Madewell” is NOT made well.

Poor quality bag. Zipper doesn’t open/ closes smoothly Much smoothly. The bag is very narrow so can only fit a phone before it started to look too bulky. Returned.

Cute but too small
Very cute bag and I love the brown color. Sadly, it only would hold maybe a phone, keys (if you don't have many) and a very small wallet or card case. Being able to carry sunglasses in a case is a must for me, so sadly this bag will be going back. I didn't really scrutinize the measurements before buying. If it were another inch or so deep at the bottom, I think it would work.
