Perfect mid-rise and great fit
These have that great Madewell quality I expect. Not too high-waisted ,and the exterior button down closure is not overly done now seeing them in person, I actually like this look a lot. I'd buy these in different rinses if they were available. The length is perfect - 27" - my favorite length for jeans. Highly recommend. I'm 5'5" & 132lbs, straight from waist to hips.

Love this button down fly jean. It fits just above the waist but is not high waisted. They have a good amount of stretch and does goes back to shape after wearing. The material is soft and fits true to size. The cropped length is good - comes to my ankle and has a unfinished hem.

Nice Jeans
I ordered these in the Anniversary Sale and received them today. They are soft, have nice stretch, and I like the kick crop cut. The only thing I don’t love is the wiskering/fading at the tummy and hips. It’s more exaggerated in person than it appears online. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, though.
