Nice shape!

Cheap and ill fitting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these a few weeks ago, and had to hem them as I’m 5’2”, but the feel of the material out of the box was cheap and thin, not the way a good cord should be. They’re absolutely not barrel shaped in any way and since they’re a mid rise, they don’t look right through the crotch area because a barrel really should be high rise. Not even close to the fit of the model. There are so many great versions of this pant out there, this is really sad quality for madewell.

Solid corduroy pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the first pair of corduroy pants I've bought in quite a while, and I'm glad I took a chance on them. I love the look of Madewell's balloon pant jeans, and these have a similar shape. They're comfortable and true to size. More fitted in the hips and then looser in the mid and lower legs. Would love to see these pants in other colors.

LOVE THE SILHOUETTE/COLOR/FABRIC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing balloon silhouette, lightweight corduroy that feel amazing you can wear in the fall all the way to the spring time. It's the perfect pair for a girl that struggles to find pants that fit her well. These fit perfectly, I just wish they were SLIGHTLY more higher waisted for my preference sake.

Flattering balloon pants for petites

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these pants. The corduroy fabric feels soft and structured, and the balloon silhouette is surprisingly flattering. I’m 5’3 and was worried the shape might overwhelm a petite frame, but they actually fit very nicely and feel balanced. The brown color is beautiful and easy to style for fall and winter. I’ve been wearing them with a fitted top and heeled boots which helps balance the volume of the pant. Comfortable, stylish, and a great alternative to jeans.
