Much darker color than it appears in the photo
Based on the photo and the description of sand, I expected the color to be lighter than the actual sweater.
Overall it’s a darker tan with a sort of gold tint. And it is a marked knit with light and dark tones.
I do like the sweater in spite of still wishing it was the color I originally expected
