Dress runs very large. I ordered an 18 and I normally fit between an 18 and 20. If I could return it for a smaller size, I would. Also, the material is a little different and wasn't quite what I was expecting. Since there's no return, I plan to live with it and pair with a thin belt to hide the extra material.
