Maine Mountain 650 Fill Power Down Parka with Removable Faux Fur Trim

I wanted to like this jacket but didn’t and will return. Here’s the scoop. PROS: Great outer nylon material. Looks nice. I trust the LLBean brand. It says it’s at least 80% down fill, so even tho I haven’t tested it cold weather I assume it will be warm. CONS: can’t zipper up. I heard others have trouble with the zipper too, and says it does work after fumbling around with it a little bit. For me, if it’s not easy, I wont like using it and it wont work. And the zipper was not easy. After 15 seconds fumbling around, I was done. Another con is the pocket placement is about three inches lower than where my hand would feel comfortable. This is not good design for ease of use. I also feel like this fit slightly small. With a thick sweater, the chest area couldn’t fit. Lastly, it’s not lightweight. For most people, this probably can be overlooked. For me, I have arthritis and lots of body pain on most days, so I need ease of use and lightweight. This was not it. In conclusion, very disappointed. I wish it would work but just not right for me.
