Cinch is a game changer
The cinch on these is perfect for me and is a major game changer! I had also ordered a pair of non-cinched jeans from Levis but those have a huge waist gap and were too loose on me (even though the same waist size as these). These fit per perfectly.

Random sizing
I have 2 of these barrel jeans, dark grey and pale blue, both 28x33 grey is too short for my 5’9 while blue is perfect. Same model, same size, different colours and the sizing is random. Also size are different on thz waist too while both being 28. But i love both of them even if both fit me differently

Runs bigger in hip region
Love them but they also are a bit softer than I thought they’d be which I believe caused them to stretch out pretty quick - they were already pretty loose, I’m curvy in booty n thighs so I did my exact measurements but next time would size down.
