What it is: A travel-size mascara that targets and volumizes every single lash for instant lift, length and fanned-out volume with no clumps.

What it does: Its curved wand pushes up and fans out your lashes for an open-eye effect that lasts up to 24 hours, while the 360 microbristles grab every lash from root to tip no matter the length, for longer eyelashes without the clumps. Its gel formula won't weigh on your lashes, leaving them feathery-soft without any flaking or smudging.

How to use: To boost volume, length and curl, begin with a lash primer. Hold the wand of Lash Idôle horizontally near your lashes with the curved side facing upward. Apply the mascara in an upward swiping motion for the top lashes and bottom swiping motion for the bottom lashes. Layer as desired.

I’ve been using Lancôme mascara for many years - tried most of them. Defincils was the best for me, but after trying this new one, I love it and will continue using it. No clumping, finally!

My favorite mascara
Idole is my absolute favorite mascara for my short sparse lashes. It has a lovely fluid consistency that lengthens, defines, and volumizes my lashes perfectly. I always try to stock up during sales so I have a fresh tube handy at all times. I bought two tubes a few months ago. One was perfect, but the other was very thick and gloppy from the first time I opened it, and it just isn't performing as well as every other tube I've bought. When I used it a few days ago, I had to clean a thick ring of dried mascara off the opening of the tube. I only wear makeup once or twice per week, so it has been used maybe 5 or 6 times. I've never had this happen with my other Idole purchases. I'm wondering if I got an improperly sealed tube? At any rate, I'm back to repurchase and hoping the defective tube was just a fluke.
