Oriana High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

These jeans are very soft, slight stretch, perfect color. I ordered a size 29 based on reviews to size up, thinking that they run small, typically I order 27-28 depending on brand. I was swimming in these and could have easily bought them in a size 26. I’m 5’6 and weigh between 125-130. In Mother jeans I wear a 27, Joe’s 28, Hudson 27. They are sold out in the smaller sizes, unfortunately they will be returned until the 26 or 27 are available again.

I really wanted to love them. The fabric is super soft and comfortable like an old pair of jeans, but I was looking for something a little bit more structured. I also didn't really like the look of the fabric up close, it wasn't tightly woven. I would probably recommend sizing down - I am a solid 31 in most jeans and these were baggy in places. They are definitely more of a slim bootcut than a true straight jean.

I didn’t check the fabric before I ordered, but don’t think it would have made a difference. I just wouldn’t think 1% would make such a difference but it does. The past jeans I bought were 93% cotton and 6% polyester. These are 94/5 and it’s so different. It’s not as structured and it “grows” on you. They get very baggy by the end of the day. I think it might just be a different grade of cotton altogether. My old jeans are still very structured and have that polished look after MANY wears/washes over 2 years. I just hate when you find the perfect jeans and fit and they change them. Can’t even find them on the after market because everyone knows a good pair of jeans and they’re hard to find.
