Marjorie Mr. Slouch Slim Fit Straight Leg Jeans

Calling these "slim slouch straight" jeans is both inaccurate and confusing, since these are definitely baggy jeans. I'm usually a 28 in this brand, and sized down to a 27 based on the reviews. They are very loose throughout, with a significant gap at the waist, so I'm going to try a 26. While I like loose jeans when I just want to relax, they do stretch out even more when you wear them. Other than that, the wash is an attractive dark wash if you don't mind having the fade come halfway down your shin for those under 5' 9" or so. I am 5'4" and the inseam looks like a long 29". It breaks across the top of my foot and touches the ground behind my heel. That actually works for me for this style Jean, especially since it's so hard to find a good mid-rise. The rise on these comes to a couple of inches below my belly button. But definitely size down twice unless you want lots and lots of extra room.

I can’t believe how different these jeans are in person. They run very large! I could have sized down two sizes. The cut looks nothing like the photo. Maybe that is a different pair of jeans in the photo. Anyway, returning them. Really disappointed because the color of the denim is great.

Based on reviews I went down a size…I could have gone down 2 more sizes. What’s worse, is they stretch as you wear them and they look sloppy.

Relaxed fit without being too baggy. I bought the maverick color which is almost a blue-black color. Hit just at the ankle (5'6") and I actually wish they were just a little shorter so they didn't skim the stop of my sneakers. I roll mine up and like the look of them better that way. Definitely run large so recommend sizing down.
