L’Agence. I so want to love you, but good grief! Your fabrics and workmanship are impeccable, but your sizes are insanely inconsistent. Because this jacket’s description indicated a looser fit, I sized down to an 8. “Oversized” doesn’t begin to describe this jacket, nor does ”loose,” “boyfriend,” or any other word. I have broad shoulders and the 8 looks like a drop-shoulder design on me. The body is so full I can literally crisscross the entire front of my torso. Because of the pocket placement - strangely placed over the side seams - and the center back single vent (on a double-breasted blazer?), there is no way to alter it. Looks like I found a gorgeous burlap sack. I am still exploring options, but I imagine I will have to return it. PLEASE be more accurate with descriptions and consider offering sizing recommendations. If you want to look like a kindergartner in Dad’s jacket, go for it. Otherwise, know this is huge and voluminous.
