This lookbook-featured maxi dress is made from fluid iridescent twill with hand-twisted plissé in a hue lifted from the early 18th-century oil painting, 'Virgin in Prayer,' by the Venetian painter Giulia Lama. Lafayette 148 has been involved in supporting the restoration of the painting through the Save Venice organization.
