Gender Inclusive Roamer Hands-Free Sneaker

The Roamer are my first shoes from Kizik and they definitely won’t be my last. Every time I slide my foot in and out, I’m astounded. I know it sounds minuscule, but eliminating those extra two minutes of putting on and tying your shoes is amazing. I literally slip them on and I’m out the door. Also, these shoes are incredibly sturdy! My entire foot up to my ankle feels incredibly secure in these. And they’re comfortable! I saw some reviews saying that people had to change out the insoles, but I have plantar fasciitis and these feel so good on my feet. I haven’t reached for any of my other sneakers since these arrived. Also, I’m a 7.5 wide and typically have to size up to an 8 in most shoes, but these fit in a 7.5. Genuinely, I love them and will definitely be trying more pairs from Kizik.

While the "step-in" feature worked perfectly, the shoe was not comfortable enough for me. I tried it with and without socks and still the shoe was not comfortable mainly on my toes. It was roomy enough, just something wasn't right. I wore them while flying across the country and took them off while seated in the airplane. Then it was great to step in to go to the bathroom. However, I will not wear them again.

These shoes surpass my expectations. I read up on these shoes and read reviews on the brand site. Decided the Roamer would provide the best support for my ankles and heels. Coming into the house I had to grab the package with one hand and it was so lightweight! The shoes slip on as easily as described. The ties are helpful to make the shoes more snug and narrower, especially if I don’t want to wear socks. I cannot tell you how incredible these shoes feel on. I had ankle-foot surgery a few months ago. I slip these shoes on and I can walk normally for the first time. They are true to size so I don’t have to go back and forth with shipping to get the right fit. I am thrilled with these shoes.
