Uneek Hiking Sandal (Men)

Love the shoes. I bought them to use on a extended trip. I do not take sneakers as many upscale places deny you entry if you are wearing sneakers. This was the only pair of shoes I took on the trip. I bought the men’s since the women’s does not come in wide and I can wear them with socks, in winter. The two tone men’s makes the shoe less manly. I was very disappointed to learn that Keen was discounting the two toned shoes. You can also change insoles, which makes the shoe even more comfortable. Hope Keen continues to sell these shoes especially the men's in two colors.

*this review is limited since this is a new release and i've had it for only 2 weeks* i'm a uneek fan so much so that it's my primary shoe all year. however, i've noticed that as comfortable as they are, i do have a wonky arch on my left foot, so i wanted to try these and see if it helped. since i got these, i've worn them every day to get used to them and see how my foot/knees felt. my arch and knees feel a lot better after wearing these, and it makes me be more aware of how i use muscles to walk. no breaking in needed at all, no chafing, super comfortable. i've worn these in the rain and splashed through shallow puddles without getting wet since the platform is nice and tall (don't try this at home lol). one thing i will note is that since it has a rocker and tilts your foot forward, this makes standing for long periods awkward. a small issue i have with the design is that the back strap supporting the heel does get caught under my heel when i slip in my foot, and it's annoying to fish out even with the pull tab. it could be sturdier so it can keep its shape instead of caving in to pressure from the heel. besides those minor things, i love this shoe, especially the color of blue.
