margaux large leather tote bag

I absolutely love the look and quality of this tote. Beautiful leather, spacious, and stylish design. I love that it has feet at the bottom too. Upon taking it out of the box though I was dismayed to find it was way too heavy even when empty. I carry everything in my totes and after filling it there is no way I could lug it around. Sadly, back it goes. Otherwise it would be the perfect tote for someone who prefers larger bags.

The Margaux bag is big, roomy, stands up by itself, and well made--great bag. The thing that bothers me about the way this and a great many other bags of comparable quality is that it and others are misrepresented as "leather," (even when one searches for "cow leather) despite the fact that it certainly seems to be some synthetic. It's nice, but don't be misled into thinking that the material ever graced a cow.
