Reversible Leather Belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Karl Lagerfeld reversible leather belt as part of an Influenster campaign, and unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. For something from a “designer” brand, the quality feels incredibly cheap. The buckle is extremely flimsy—it feels like it’s on the verge of snapping off. The part of the buckle that allows it to reverse doesn’t stay in place at all, which defeats the purpose of a reversible belt. To make matters worse, the sizing is way off. I received a size 30, and it couldn’t even fully wrap around my 30-inch waist, which was really frustrating. It does get a couple of points for looking nice and being versatile in theory, but the lack of durability and functionality really overshadowed that. Honestly, the whole Influenster package felt like a billboard for the Karl Lagerfeld brand, with the logo and name plastered all over everything. It’s disappointing that the one basic piece in the collection—something as simple as a belt—did not hold up to the expectations of a name-brand designer. Save your money and look elsewhere.
