Pretty sundress
The colors in the dress received are just as pictured--a very pretty blue on ivory "toile" pattern. The cotton quality is very, very good. The sizing measurements on the chart met my size expectations. The waist and hips fit fine, but because it has some room on top, there are those who will think this runs large and I have to agree. The straps are each 2 inches too long, and after altering, I would have to wear a strapless bra, which I hate to do. I am a 36D, and the bodice is almost there, but would likely have to be altered to fit without a slight gap around the neckline which may go away with shorter straps. I'm 5 foot 4 inches, so the length would have to be altered and hemmed about 9 inches from the current hem to look close to the length as pictured on the model. My choice is to either send it back or size down to solve the problems on the top. But, the length would still be very long for me. The belt, btw, is a big waste of time. The dress works without it and is cute with a bolero sweater and zero belt. Thus, the four star rating.
