And the glass isn't just glass. This set is constructed from borosilicate glass (aka space shuttle glass) designed to withstand temperature changes without breaking.

Not even done unboxing the order and the gasket on one of the jars tore you can see on the glass jar where the gasket was attached to the glass.

Excellent containers

Functional and Attractive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly functional storage containers that are attractive enough to sit out on your countertop! I am using mine for dry storage in the kitchen (sugar, popcorn kernels, chocolate chips, etc.), but they would work nice for cotton swabs, flossers and similar items in the bathroom, too. Bamboo lids include rubber gaskets for a tight seal.
