Very average
I purchased the black shoe. It looks nice and it is comfortable. I don’t think much of the manufacture. I wore them twice and already part of the thread on the tongue came loose. It doesn’t affect the shoe but it shows they don’t make them well. Next time I will go to a different shoe company

Good looking shoe, poor quality control.
It's a good looking shoe, and materials seem good but not as good as they once were. What was really disappointing was the scraps hanging off all of the stitched edges. It took some careful cleaning to remove it all and should have been done at the factory.

Great looking shoe with high quality leather. It looks like a classic Cap Toe but when you put on the shoe, it feels like a sneaker. Super comfortable. Looks as good as my Allen Edmonds shoes. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought my first pair
I bought my first pair of Johnson Murphy shoes back in the 1970s. They’ve changed a lot since then, they’ve gotten even better. I love these. They’re made well. Look good and will last for a long time.
