Boots look nice
Haven't had a chance to break them in yet but quality seems good. I like the leather grain, wish the laces were a little thicker.

Absolutely don't buy these!!!!
I bought these boots one year ago on the recommendations of several work colleagues. The soles wore through crazy fast for the amount they have been worn. They leak water when it's raining. I expected high quality for the price of these boots and they are not what I expected. They are comfortable, and still in perfect condition other than the soles. I bought a pair of Doc Martens in 2001 and I'm still wearing them. That's quality!!!!! The soles on them are still in fair shape for the age of the boots and how much I've worn them. Won't buy these again.............And don't recommend you do either......unless you wear them on carpet

Great work Shoes!
My husband is on his second pair of these he loves them so much. In terms of fit and style, they are perfect. I took one star off because the soles are made of a weird rubber that doesn’t last more than a year for him. He’s a pilot, so is often on hot tarmac that just eats the bottoms right up- these more so than others he’s had.

First JM disappointment
I am a loyal JM shoe consumer having bought more than 20 pairs over the past several years. Until the Calder, I’ve never had one issue with any. With the Calder, I love the style, fit and comfort and bought two pairs. Sadly the soles came unglued on both pair within 3 months. The soles also flattened and stuck out around the edges. Very unlike JM products and very discouraging. I definitely would not recommend this style. Seems JM product development failed on the soles of this style. Still happy with other styles of JM products.

Bad soles adhesive
I bought this shoe three different times. I kept sending them back because the sole kept peeling off, especially at the toes. It’s a beautiful shoe and feels amazing but the soles peel off. I don’t understand why this problem is not fixed. I’m not alone on this one. I wish I could buy them and keep them.

Material in Sole easily degrades
I really like the appearance of this boot and thought the overall product would be perfect for business casual apparel. I found that the material in the sole easily degraded from normal walking. Please see the photo. After 3 months of ownership, I am disappointed in the appearance of the sole.
