High Waist Crop Bootcut Jeans

I haven’t worn Joe’s in a quite a few years so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but these jeans are cute, with a more tailored look than I imagined based on the photos. I feel like they’re almost a little preppy? They’re slightly bootcut, but actually fit more like a non-rigid version of Levi’s wedgie straight crop if anyone is familiar with those. They also hit me at the ankle bone, but I’m short. I’d say they’re more or less true to size, but they soften up, so I feel like the knees and thighs did stretch out a bit over the day, but they maintained structure and didn’t get all weird and bagged out like some jeans. That said, I probably could’ve gone down a size and I imagine they’d fit more like they do on the model.
