Cotton French Terry Relaxed Sweater

This appears to be a James Perse "knock off". I own a dozen James Perse items purchased directly from the vendor and this is not their quality. Maybe it was made for the rack. Beware you will be disappointed if you are expecting high end designer loungers. I immediately returned.

The reviews sounded great & I love James Perse. However, IT'S HUGE!! This is not "relaxed" this is oversized! I always wear a 0 in JP so there is no size to go down to. :/ This is so oversized on me that I look like I'm wearing my big brothers sweatshirt and not in that cool way... just unattractive no shape at all. JP size 0 fits like a glove on me and I'm slender so you use that as reference. If this stated OVERSIZED maybe the right buyer would find it. Returned to my local store same day it arrive. 5 stars for Nordstrom efficient store returns.

This top is more of an upscale sweatshirt than a sweater in my opinion. That said, it is very comfortable and attractive on. It elevates a casual outfit. I wear it with jeans or casual pants. The colors are great...I have it in toast and a darker greenish brown. The toast is neutral and matches everything. The fit is loose through the torso. Happy with my purchase.

These sweaters are great for lounging in or can be worn out for a casual look with sweatpants or jeans. They are a french terry sweater made of 100% cotton. My sizes vary in this brand (James Peres). I purchased a size 2 and a size 3, and I kept the 3. Then I ordered more. I am 5'3 and 130 lbs. I wanted them to fit loose and the 3 worked best when calculating in some shrinkage. I didn't find that it shrank very much. Washed in cold water and low heat dry.

I now have this Sweatshirt in 4 colors. I saw it first in a store. Bought the only size they had, Size 1. Looked like a relaxed fit which I like. Didn't have another size to compare it to, so I ordered a size 0, but after trying on both, decided Size 1 was the best fit for me. I am usually a Size 2 on the top, so I highly recommend sizing down one size. I already own 2 other James Perse sweatshirts of this fabric and they have lasted for years. In fact, one of them has been washed so many times, I now use it as a top for my pajama bottoms in fall/winter. So happy to have found this in the store. I would never describe this garment as a sweater!
