What it is: A lightweight, emollient-rich moisturizer that is an advanced facial treatment and broad-spectrum sunscreen in one.

What it does: It provides lasting hydration and visibly improves the skin's overall appearance while SPF 20 protection helps shield skin from premature aging due to sun exposure. It's formulated with blue algae extract, which is a rich source of vitamin E and helps keep the skin supple and reduces inflammation; sea parsley, which is a potent anti-irritant which contains a combination of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals which work together to improve skin's appearance; and vitamins A and E, powerful antioxidants to help protect skin from free radical damage. Phospholipids bind moisture to the skin and help support the natural skin barrier.
How to use: After cleansing and shaving, apply liberally to your face and neck at least 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Beware of product size, this is not a good buy!
The picture shows the 8.5 oz bottle and if you click it and add to cart quickly you don’t realize you bought 3 oz for $30.00. Terrible price, the 8.5 is usually $50.00. Great product, bad description.

New formulation is terrible. Looks like plenty of people have mentioned this, so I’ll just say please make it clear when you have fixed it so I can continue using. I don’t have the bottle- I threw it out after it burned my eyes. It’s a runny watered down mess that you can immediately tell has been purposely made worse. The all over wash, face wash, and this moisturizer has been a staple in my home for years. I love all of your products and don’t want to take my business elsewhere if I can avoid it. It’s 2026- chat gpt
exists. It takes 5 seconds to copy paste an ingredient formulation and see that it’s been made worse. You guys
can’t get away with this stuff anymore, make it abundantly clear that you reformulated and why. If it’s anything other than an honest attempt at improving the product then maybe leave it alone?

Hi Tyler, All SPF products containing Octinoxate and Oxybenzone had to be reformulated following Hawaii's Senate Bill 2571 which banned those two active ingredients. The decision to reformulate Double-Duty was made to ensure we're in compliance with this new law and can continue selling our Double-Duty product in the market. We always do our very best to match the quality and efficacy of the original formula when we do have to reformulate, and it's clear based on the reviews we're seeing that we've missed the mark somewhere. We're continuing to review customer feedback alongside our Customer Care, Quality and Safety teams. Bad change of formula
I have been using this product for over a decade and they recently changed the formula, consistency is different and the lotion now smells chemically. Skin feel is totally different. Will be finding an alternative unless they go back to the original formula.

CAUTION NEW FORMULATION: EYES BURNING
I have been a lifelong purchaser of this product. The updated formula is horrible. Both my husband and my eyes were burning after applying, and the smell is really off. We had to stop using. I wish they would inform loyal customers of re-formulations versus having us learn by a bad reaction. SO DISAPPOINTING that we need to find some other brand to use now. So much for being a life-long customer.

Ruined it
It must be like a biblical prophecy that a company ruins a product with a formulation change at some point. Has private equity bought you guys out or something lol. Genuinely infuriating to have to look for a different product when I’ve been using this for as long as I can remember. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it guys.
