Barbara Coated High Waist Ankle Straight Leg Jeans

I own 5 pairs of Hudson jeans that I keep on steady rotation plus a few repeat buys for styles I wear most often. Somehow, the fit differs significantly from my other pairs of Barbara High Rise. The waist is loose in back and the rise seems lower. I’m bummed and I already cut off the tags since all prior purchases fit like a glove. Disappointed.

I LOVE Hudsons and treated myself to two pairs. However, I used to be a 31, and now I'm a 30, and I don't know if it's that I'm smaller or that the design has changed, but these are TOO SHORT. They land almost a full inch above my ankle bone so it limits the type of shoes I can wear with these jeans - i.e. I don't like when my pants stop well above my ankle bone and there's a large gap between end of pants and my shoes. :( I've messaged about this but not heard back. Super bummer. Also these are still too big and stretchy and I was hoping for more fitted/waxed style.

Purchased these by reference of a fashion influencer. They are not for curved girls, at all. More for slim/straight/slender body type. These were not flattering at all. Size 33 felt more like a 32. I also wasn’t a fan of how coated these were. More dressy for date night since they were so flashy and not soft. If you want a flashy coated jean, and have a slender body type (narrow hips) these may work for you.
