Not as expected
I have Hokas and have always found them to be well padded and puffy. These are not. The upper is very thin material. I got the Yellow and the quality I expected was not there. I took them back and got a different style Hoka on sale in store.

GREAT WALKING SHOE!!!
I love Hoka, but never would have chosen this but for a review that said it was good for walking. I live in a city and the sidewalks and streets are uneven and cracked. This is a great shoe for keeping my feet stable, and they are super comfortable. They are so fabulous that I ordered 2 more pairs because this is such a great deal.

So comfortable!
This is probably my 12th pair of Hokas. I started wearing them when I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago and I also have knee problems. I have orthotics that fit perfectly in the shoes as long as I size up 1/2 size. These shoes are like walking on a cloud and I have no pain in my knees or feet and there is never an issue of breaking a pair of Hokas in, they are comfortable as soon as you put them on your feet.
